CEDAR WALL

We built a residential perimeter wall from old growth western red cedar wood. Due to the high material value, special care was taken to ensure that the final assembly could last a century with minimal maintenance. Each piece of wood was hand milled on site to suit. Water repellant joints and surface treatments were used to prolong the material lifespan and disassembly is easily accommodated with a minimal number of connection points in case any repair work became necessary.
