We have rezoned this site so the development can effectively accommodate the objectives of Sudbury’s official plan. The building will also be a mass timber structure to help lower its embodied carbon while maintaining a durable and attractive finished quality.
The site has been designed to meet the needs of the local light industrial activity with minimal reconfiguration to the existing outcrops of bedrock. Parametric tools were used to fine tune the placement of the building and site features according to fluid cost estimates. This process significantly improved design and budgetary alignment.
